Definitely one of the top spots when craving for authentic Italian cuisine. The complimentary focaccia bread is good, the arugula prosciutto pizza is amazing. The pasta is a bit on the tough side but nevertheless the flavours are amazing. The interior is cozy, servers are also attentive and very welcoming. One thing to improve on is to inform the customers beforehand of the unavailable items on the menu, my girlfriend was supposed to order their gnocchi and lasagna but was later on told that unfortunately there has been some sort of mishap in their end and has become currently unavailable which is kinda disappointing but overall a great dining experience.

Summary: good food, nice ambience, service took way too long. Visited Wed early lunch (around 11am) and we were the 2nd table of guests (2 people) to be at the resto. The other table was a couple, too. We ordered the Aglio Olio, Bacon and Mushroom Pasta, Pizza and Chicken Paillard. Was served house bread and my date and I were just enjoying our chats and checking out the interior of the resto. Until 12NN came and all that came out of the kitchen was the pizza and the Aglio Olio (the Bacon & Mushroom pasta came about 10mins later) - just as the lunch crowd was coming in. I assumed they got a takeout order as well (we were sat near the POS and heard the lady take an order for 8 packs of something). We finished our pasta and pizza, and the chicken never came out. Finally, we asked if we can just get it to go. All in all, I think it was good trying Da Gianni for the first time. I’d have to think twice if I would come back because the wait was too long and the staff didnt even bother giving us an update why the order was taking too long. The pasta dishes were okay, decent portions, no fancy plating - nothing special since we just ordered the simple dishes anyway. But for what we were served, it wasn’t worth the wait. If there’s any suggestion for improvement, please consider improving your house service, especially given that we went there for weekday lunch early. A simple explanation why our order took 1-1.5 hrs to complete would have sufficed. *** The resto was rustic and quaint, nice mood music, lots of natural light from huge windows, and I admired the solihiya decors giving the resto its Filipino touch.

We should have a reservations next time This is a famous Italian restaurant maybe due to one of its owners, Mateo Guidicelli. We went here on a special holiday so aside from us, there were a lot of customers celebrating the same thing. For those who had their reservation, they were given a table inside the restaurant. But since we were just walk-in customers, we were given the al fresco dining experience and it was okay. So far, we had a smooth transaction from getting our table and giving our order. While waiting, they also gave us complimentary bread which was good especially that we were somehow hungry at that time. Then, one by one the food came. And they were all delicious as expected. I like both pastas (shrimp & scallops and truffle pasta) that we ordered. Both of them were sooo good that it is something that I will try again. The desserts were okay. We also liked the pizza but it took some time to reach us. I also observed that the other tables were also waiting for their pizza. The staff knew that it was taking so much more time than usual and they had the initiative to reach on to us and apologize. We appreciated their gesture of letting us know rather than we following them up. They even gave us free dessert to compensate for our waiting time. So even though we waited, I could still say that we had a happy holiday with this restaurant. So maybe it would be better if we have a reservation next time. ☺️

We finally got the chance to dine at the South so we decided to try this well-loved restaurant. Service is excellent and food is really good. Their menu has a wide selection. Love their carbonara very much. We ordered their Margherita pizza and Burrata pizza and we all loved it. Price point is fair considering the quality of the food and great service. Parking is relatively easy since Westgate has lots of parking spaces considering we went at a Saturday night. Their pizza is one of the best I’ve tried so far. I also love the simple, cozy vibe. My sister also loved her coffee (she had a Caramel Macchiato). When we go back to visit the south, we’ll definitely visit here again.

Good Italian resto. Had the 4 in 1 pizza (quadro something). For me, this was so so. Feels like eating plain pizza, nothing outstanding. For 500+ it is ok in today's economy. This one will be 3.8/5 For the truffle pasta we had, it was my first time having that kind of taste. Very "fresh" when eaten, but take note that the truffle wasn't "malansa" and was mild tasting. For this dish, I'll give it 5/5 Ambience is good, very chill and servers were attentive so I have no complaints. Overall, it was great! Just that the pizza was a mismatch or maybe not a good choice for me.

We ordered Chicken: Cotoletta Di Pollo, Pasta: Carbonara Classico, and Pizza: Quattro Stagioni Pizza All to feed 4pax. Strictly speaking in terms of quality and taste, 10/10. I have nothing bad to say. Very happy. Strictly speaking in terms of the Ratio of Price to Quality, I highly recommend the Pizza. Can feed up to 4pax comfortably. The Carbonara and Di Pollo are overpriced. Ambience is the good kind of noisy, kind of like a friendly bar. There are tables and chairs outside too. Staff are amazing and attentive.
